nokaa: my main question is whether loading firmware directly like this can possibly brick my board, or if I can always go back to the fuzzy confines of the Arduino IDE :)
another question: does Zinc usually work with latest nightly or is there somewhere to find out which one is recommended? I see the Teensy code that I found pins to 2016-05-12, but I wasn't sure if that's arbitrary or not

I'm not sure if it's the same, but I've used dfu-programmer a lot to flash firmware to my arduino uno
If the teensy is anything like the uno, you shouldn't have any issues with flashing firmware
As for Zinc, I'm not really sure. I don't have a board directly supported by it, so I haven't been able to play with it yet

ok
I'll start with the instructions exactly as in that repo, for sure
saimen has quit

If you remember to, you should post something here about how it goes
