Hi got quick question, is it normal that zoneminder creaters sockets with a ending like .sock= inside the /var/run/zm directory? zoneminder complains the sockets do not exist as it's trying to find the socket without the = at the end
running freenas (freebsd 11.2-stable) jail

thats weird. but im not much of a bsd person so i dont have any advice heh
i would guess that it doesnt have anything to do with zm tho, that should all be handled at os level

Well damn.. I don't have any other software installed that creates sockets so I can't compare the problem to anything :D
merkur2k
i run it in docker on linux and it works hehe

if I just could change zoneminder to look for sockets with .sock= ending it would be a "fix"
nevermind its something else... the event stream viewing just does not work,

Jaska_: I would guess no one has considered it - server over desktop obviously. With 264 pass through and no encoding/decoding I doubt it matters much - if there is, whatever suits ffmpeg?
