icon_, something else i need to debug, I have 3 monitors is "modect", they are linked to better quuality streams in nodect. 2 are working fine and triggering, 1 isn't and its not showing any FPS. However, i can view it just fine?

Actually I've found a log (as log window finally loaded), 1 sec

and this "deadlock" is stopping events being recorded?

slighly offtopic: I have a Hikvision wireless camera, and it keeps freezing/dropping/stopping in zoneminder, is this purely hardware related or is there something I can do to prevent it, reduce fps etc?

though its only running on 8fps

I have no idea. Would need to know why it is stopping. I have found wireless to be generally unreliable for video cameras.

raid10 storage, db on sep ssd, storage is not the bottleneck

mocord will write to disk more. More time spent writing to disk.

had a thought: since ffmpeg is more than likely to be kicking around in there: why not use fifo and make the buffer avail as a "filesystem" dev?

db cpu should be down... not sure why ram usage would go down. Cool.

analysis fps does what i've always thought it does? run say 4fps modect on a n fps stream?

there is a ubuntu ppa at zmrepo. Use the following line in apt.conf:
