to everyone running h264 branch.. WE ARE STILL DECODING THE H264 stream. In future we may get better about this, but for now, we are still doing it. We are storing the h264 in an mp4, which is great... but this far have not realised any real cpu benefits.

jzaw: I reviewied compiling on older ffmpeg... and it now compiles... don't know if it works... but it compiles.

im on xenial 16.04 but it's not got a candidate ... so i grabbed the deb for the next build K<something something> and dpkg -i 'd that and it allowed stable 1.30.4 to be installed

but it wont build / compile 1.31 master

hang on .. pasting ...

like i mention 1.30.4 stable builds ... and once i grabbed the php-acpu-bc deb ... it installed fine .. but ofc it's missing the h264 stuff as yet ... hence my wanting to try 1.31 master

codecpar committed to ffmpeg Apr 2016, so must be older than that

see above paste for ffmpeg version i have in xenial

i wonder if i could use xenial-backports for a newer version of ffmpeg ?

ah it was yakkety i grabbed the php-apcu-bc deb from

maybe i should just move the zm server to yakkety ?

but I cleary doesn't see any alarms

use modect for creating events on alarms

mocord just highlights them on the timeline

after I watched some events in the browser

it's eating up all the cpu
