Zoneminder did not make it in before the freeze? When will it hit stretch?

I don't minding doing this but I wanted to keep a "production clean" machine as it is a NAS for backups as well.

should I just do two sections: "stretch" and "unstable" and give "stretch" the higher "Pin-Priority"?

or should I specify zoneminder specifically from sid: Package: zoneminder* Pin: release a=Sid Pin-Priority: 1000

and just add deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free to my sources.list

Guys, if i have a linked monitor and i'm getting tons of small events should i change the buffers on the main stream or the linked monitor ?

Can't mkdir events/4/17/03/04/11/45: Structure needs cleaning < also getting this, what does that mean? :O

getting tons of 0 length events that are stuck saying "new event"

If an event never stops, how do i make ZM record it as one event? Regardless of how long i set post buffers it will just record a fixed length, never until the event stops

I have in in a virtual machine with 2 cores allocated

Its not really threaded right now

there is a daemon for each task, zmc for capturing, zma for analysis + recording

On an 8 core machine

I run on an i3, which is two cores plus hyperthreading. Its enough for 5 cams

but it still works well, the scheduler spreads the processes between the CPUs

Im goig to add a cam soon

I run it on an Intel Atom (dual core)

newer atoms are fast

Works well with 3 cameras at 768x576, PAL 5 fps + deinterlacing

and motion detection

its not a new atom, i think its 6 years old by now

I just set max FPS to 5fps

Dropped my CPU load to .9% lol

They are all set in the IP camera to 5fps

I dunno wtf was going on

very strange. from the log it reported network unreachable

it failed to connect, perhaps it needed a restart

limiting the FPS from zoneminder for IP cameras doesn't work properly, it'll add delay
