looking at the images themselves, 3 or 4 are legit, the rest is complete darkness

no color change whatsoever

is the reference frame blending not working for plain black?

as in it keeps finding motion because the ref frame isn't blending

I had this happen on another camera, it kept detecting change in a shaded area, black as well

I blamed my settings but now I'm not sure

because it's alarming on every single frame after the light goes off, the zone outline is around the area previously lite

and it's not changing at all

I think I broked zm.

I selected some sort of theme/layout in the UI and I got XML errors of it not loading. So I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and still failing. Weeeeee! :D

scanning through syslog now. Says no server ID or name specified in config.

perm denied with some perl files with zm

this is just a tinker around server as I'm just trying to learn zoneminder better. that's why I jumped the gun and reinstalled it earlier in hopes I could get it reinstalled to further test.

i think you just have to reset it in your browser.

I did during the initial install, but I did a reinstall of zm since then.

as in just apt-get remove, apt-get install

kyis, that's exactly what I have set right now. It *looks* like it's running. Source is green. I see "1" under events as if it's working (I'm running full time record for now)... but when I click on the camera to see the stream, it's nothing.

bhuddah: That mysql issue seems to be coming from the zms as well... Same process ID as the one telling me it's dropping the max fps

I'm in zm UI >> options >> images and I see OPT_FFMPEG unchecked and PATH_FFMPEG (optional) listed as empty
