What is the recommended version of ubuntu to run Zoneminder on?

According to the message at https://launchpad.net/~iconnor/+archive/ubuntu/... should I be running the LTS prior to that 13.10

Migrating mysql to mysqli shouldn't be too complex, right?

lots of errors like this in the web gui: Notice: Undefined index: FnMonitor in /usr/share/zoneminder/skins/classic/views/console.php on line 305

and: Notice: Undefined index: BandwidthHead in /usr/share/zoneminder/skins/classic/views/console.php on line 229

after upgrade to 14.04

i'm using the zoneminder-master branch now

Those errors seem to relate to the language files. Do you get those errors with the default language set to en or just a particular language?

Mm... yeah... I can solve it. I havn't wanted to view all in montage so never bothered. If you are going to try to view hundreds of cams... montage is going to be very interesting...

my code includes the save to vdeo branch...

so it incudes the vdeo branch. Yo can have it save to a video install of jpg stills. Takes way less hd space, but is more cpu-intense.

I'm pushing an update to my ppa which shows all on montage, or select a specific host to view. Will take a little while for ubuntu to prepare the packages.
