if they insist they sent the payment, i'm patient, no problem

BB-Martino: but the seller could have lied as well, did that happen?
BB-Martino
maybe i'll ask for a screenshot, if they just try to waste time they probably won't bother to make a fake one, but even if they do, it won't mean they get the coins, obviously screenshot is not proof
oakpacific: that's the thing, there was maybe 1-2 complicated cases (but still resolved) in over 2 years
so if the seller claims he hasn't received it and the buyer claims they sent it
then we play the waiting game
so a seller would be trying to scam for a small amount of money
and would still have their coins locked
they would have to do it many times repeatedly, and win every time
and because of the nice stats we have, it's suspicious even in the first case
and even if not suspicious, the coins are frozen until someone says fuck it
also, all sellers are ID verified
so if someone's claim is genuine, they can always go to the police and they won't be chasing a random person on the internet
the point is, these cases are very rare, time wasters abandon trades and stop responding
and if a scammer knows this and keeps posting updates, they're wasting their time
