Hello. I'm having a problem uploading facts from puppet to foreman. Foreman is configured as the ENC per documentation, but facts are not being uploaded. When trying to upload facts manually using node.rb --push-facts it immediately returns without error, but I have no facts in foreman. Any pointers?

Han
stbenjam, I ended up cloning the finish template and adding a sleep 1000000 so I could run the finish script by hand. And then everything goes fine... go figure.

stbenjam, there must be something wrong with the in-target script. Here is the output from the finish script if I run myself chrooted in the installer: https://hastebin.com/bedafaquwe.sql

So, I accidentally added a product+repo that I want to delete, but when I went to delete it, there was an error with candlepin... I skipped the step and resumed the delete task, and the project is still there, but now when I try to delete it I get this error: undefined method `content_id' for nil:NilClass Did you mean? contains_erb?

Is there any index of all the foreman-rake/katello-* commands? I can't find anything on google...
jsherrill
twobitsprite: can you pastebin the traceback?
twobitsprite: also if you can find that candlepin error, that may help us figure out what went wrong
generally anything that is doing a creation/deletion, you should never skip steps on
twobitsprite
It was yesterday when it failed and I checked the candlepin logs and there wasn't anything that seemed like an error...
I think the problem was just that I didn't have enough memory on the VM and the JVM process died...
where would I find the traceback? I'm just looking at the error reported on the web UI

Last time I was setting up Satellite 6 about a year ago, I recall there was a foreman-rake command to clean up orphaned objects, but I can't find it
Now I'm just doing a non-enterprise katello setup

twobitsprite: 'non-enterprise?'
twobitsprite: in the task, if you click on the errors or raw tab you may see it
dendazen has quit
or you might have to click on the 'dynflow console' button
and you may see it in there
twobitsprite
jsherrill: non-enterprise, as in, I'm running upstream, open-source foreman+katello as opposed to the pay-for Satelllite 6
