does katello install on RHEL 7.5?

i'm having some trouble with a lower krb5-libs version than available being required

i'm using katello 3.6

ehelms: do you know, will a system with katello installed automatically not update that package, or will i need to specifically specify that it should not be updated?

lilac: not sure I understand, if oyu have rhel 7.5 system, you can't install without getting an updated version

is it possible to manage a host's repositories without having the host actually use the katello repos?

That is, is it possible to use katello to manage a host's use of vendor repos?

also, are there any guidelines for the use of foreman locations?

Also would a default "Unspecified" location be a bad idea?
