can somebody share a thought on how to overcome this, please.

i have read the template syntax but the preview shows trash to me by not resolving global variables, so there comes up the question: how can i access @host.ip for example but actually all (foreman variables) in the section: kickstart default, %post, cat > /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-enoXY << EOF?

Hey guys , anyone using ansible with foremanP

ssh from foreman-host to target-host works as expected

does anyone use the pulp foreman plugin against a remote pulp repo
I'm trying to poc something at the moment, and I'm trying to understand the difference / usage of pulpnode.yml v pulp.yml in the proxy setup
there isn't readme / docs in the git repo for the pulp proxy plugin
kqkq, based on the documentation it expects only a single object, unless i'm missing something (I'ved read the code and documentation)

hi there. I'm using foreman with ansible (no puppet) and adding hosts also ansible to add hosts. the problem is, that foreman says, that there are no reports for these hosts (i assume that foreman just wants the puppet reports). my question is: is possible to disable this?

Alucard616: this was covered (for me) in an old conversation
ansible doesn't create the reports by design was my understanding

ikonia: this would be okay for me. but it would be nice if i could disable this status :)
Alucard616: Since it is not common to have hosts report via ansible to asses their status on the regular basis, we are looking into making changes to handle it better.
Alucard616: There has been a setting introducede to allow an ansible specific "out of sync" interval for example. another change we look into is to allow optionall disregarding host states for Ansible.

aruzicka: thanks. I'll have a look
