I've seen some hosts fail to update their nic settings in Foreman. Like its in the facts, but the interface is missing from the host configuration. These are all hosts that aren't provisioned with foreman. Is there anyway to look into what is going on here? The only common denominator seems to be that these hosts commonly have dummy network adapters (used for virtual ips).

The issue seems to be the real nic, ens192 isn't on the interface list (but is in facts). The fake ones (dummy0, vip, vip:ngsvcint10) are listed however and dummy0 is incorrectly marked as the primary & provisioning nic.

that's really helpful, there are some old facts in our db without an origin too.

dekimsey: i think 1.17 just have better defaults, you can probably apply it to older versions too

looks like it, just the postgres commands will be helpful in the short-term.
