does foreman support building a new host from a base image and then modify it for the specific host? If so can somone point me to a howto? I have foreman working now for normal os installs, but it takes 20-30mins to spin up a new host.

anyone knows how can I monitor a pulp sync job from CLI? I can see the task state is running from GUI. Any way the same thing can be checked from inside of the box? Is there any foreman-tasks API call?

good morning fellow Foremen
I have a small issue that I'm trying to solve
long story short: when my smart-proxy tries to parse the dhcpd.leases file it fails on trying to compare string to time
this is due to the fact that there are non-static entries in it from leases that were given to nodes without Foreman handling them beforehand
and before you ask - I'm running 1.16
ohadlevy
mdobrev: i suggest to open an issue on the smart proxy dhcp component?
mdobrev
will do ohadlevy, just let me gather infos as to how to reproduce it
ohadlevy
mdobrev: thanks, i'm not sure if its a new bug or a regression from when the dhcp smart proxy module was rewritten tbh

I've seen somebody complayned nearly a month ago here and the proposed solution was to increase the log level and see where it fails
this is how I found out the intruder in the leases file
