jsherrill: this was the command we were trying: hammer content-view version incremental-update --content-view-version-id 9638 --packages <PACKAGENAME> --lifecycle-environment-ids 1,2,3,4,5 --propagate-all-composites true

jsherrill: when we used --package-ids (which was quite slow to get actually) it does the incremental to the content view but didn't propagate to composites.

akofink: ^ do you see any way that hammer resolves packages in some way to package-ids on the content view version incremental-update commnad?

Well, actually it complains that -v is an unrecognised option.

you have to put it right after the hammer command, not after all your subcommand args

`hammer -vd content-view version ...`

akofink and we have tried different formats of the package name. package. package-version. package-version-arch. They all give us the same error.

there might be a bug in 3.5.1 with incremental update
