Does anybody here use cvmanager? I'm not sure I'm using it correctly - my use case matches perfectly with the last example on the readme, but it doesn't seem to work.

I'm publishing a content view (successfully), I run update (which does nothing, since the ccv is already set to latest), and then the publish command looks at it and says that the latest version is already in the correct lifecycle and does nothing...

I need it to publish a new version of the ccv that depends on the cv it created, and then promote that.

anyone in here know if the ec2 plugin in foreman pulls from the api directly for instance_size? I am unable to see any r4 size in the dropdown when provisioning a node.

bman2: haven't checked in a couple versions but i remember when i dug into the code to find out it was a static list

i think it was around version 1.9 or something like that last i checked, after 1.10 i didn't manage AWS with foreman because of the frequency in building/destroying instances and kept it just to my physical datacenter

Hey guys, odd question, does anyone know of some reporting tools for Foreman / Katello? We are trying to get a report of all of our unpatched hosts, and were hoping to build a report in Foreman instead of trying to export the data into something else. Any ideas?

bman2: i haven't looked at the code in a long time, i don't know where to find it these days. maybe one of the Foreman devs can assist though

issue i had where ec2 flavor_id's are pulled is from fog-aws gem in case anyone searches in the future for this
