if we want to deploy a host with an IP that bounds to a mac-address so we still need this static host in dhcpd.conf ?

I was thinking I still needed that entry in the dhcpd.conf, but proxy was failing due some earlier log fill

rizonz: no, if you have dhcp enabled, foreman will create a reservation

ohadlevy: have you even seen that when I aksed for DHCP replication 1:1 because of foreman it's really added to isc-dhcpd ?

I need to readup more about discovery it''s not clear to me, for now I just add the first mac-address of the server in foreman and place it in the group, is discovery really that much easier ?

What's the advantage of using Katello over using rsync and a web server to keep a local copy of the repo?
