So I don't think it is a smart proxy issue, It appears that I am able to provision, but I just cant use host groups
      • If I make a new host and dont use a host group there doesnt appear to be any issues with provisioning
      • I should note that I am Katello 3.2.1 with Foreman 1.13.2 on RHEL6, well that is that the main system is RHEL6, capsules are RHEL7 for the most part we have 1 capsule left that is RHEL6

Anyone have any idea why my CentOS 7.2.1511 hosts (installed via the internet CentOS mirror with stock Katello Finish) always end up failing to install puppet? Can't even find it in a yum repo, with "No package puppet available." showing up in install.post.log

dLobatog: hmm, I never made any clever discoveries that way. I did a dumb hard reset (wiping all running jobs) and restarted katello instance. Now everything shows Complete, except for one repo which completed without problem when launched manually. Then I selected all repos and did a sync again and it worked without a hitch.
      • At some point, "something" bails out with 500 internal server error, not sure if thats the remote repository I'm syncing from or locally

metavoid: the 500 error should be also in /var/log/foreman/production.log or the capsule logs, which is probably helpful to the devs if you report it with that log

hi! I have a question, startet to ask a few days, but was interrupted…sorry for that @dLobatog So again: I want to configure a module from https://forge.puppet.com/puppetlabs/apt, imported it and set a 'Smart Class Parameter' 'Update' with a little yaml: 'apt::update: frequency: daily'. On a puppet node I've tested this with puppet agent —test. Worked. After that, its time to set apt-sources and keys. A smart-class-parameter "source" filled up with
