I have a problem with Puppetrun over SSH

cant authorize because the node only allow SSH using public keypair

how can I configure foreman to use public key instead of normal password?

ohadlevy: I think I found my issue with the openscap module not uploading stuff :-) Pffff

client did a put instead of post. the 0.1.2 version fixed it

viisking: foreman has a keypair and the public key is defined in the remote_execution_ssh_keys parameter (its an array)

you just have to add those keys in your authorized_keys of the user defined in remote_execution_ssh_user parameter

and remote execution should works

the thing is there are some nodes allow password authen, other only allow keypair

from my opinion, using keypair is a good choice

how can I customize puppetrun for particular nodes?

I guess it can be done via editing YAML, but dont where where to do

with keys, you can modify your root passwords without breaking remote execution

for instance, I want node_A using root for puppetrun; node_B using user ABC with keypair

how can I achieve this?

I have installed a new foreman server and would like to migrate all vms from the old foreman to the new one, how can I do this?

I thought associating vms with the vmware provider would work but it doesn't

is there a reason that the plugin rpms on yum.theforeman.org are not signed?
