opsengie: do you have the environment defined that matches the modulepath?

i don't use the ENC part myself, so i'm just thinking back on my last install that did.

also, look at enabling the smart proxy log perhaps in debug mode so you can see if anything is erroring

I am trying to add an extra environment to Foreman, I added the following to my puppet.conf

[rick]

modulepath = /etc/puppet/rick

Then placed my modules within that

Then added an environment within foreman of the same name

Now when I try and import, it doesn't detect my modules

Yea, oddly enough. Dropping it a subdirectory made it work.

you mean whats the full path to the modules?

Then also configuring it to that

using modulepath

Not sure why it changed since all the permissions etc were identical

I am attempting to specify hiera data under an environment and again not having much success

hiera_config = /etc/puppet/environments/hiera/hiera.yaml <--- is what is under my environment in puppet.conf
