mhh any debugging on CentOS 7 ?

this is driving me crazy

I am having a strange problem all of the sudden.

I was able to spin up a VM in openstack about 2 hours ago. Now I cant. Its getting a timeout error in foreman

but I can access openstack horizon just fine

and when I test the creds for the compute resource, it works just fine.

argh, the interfaces stuff kills me sometimes.

I can't edit an existing host (and add classes to it) because it tells me it has invalid interfaces.

I wish I could just tell it to ignore stuff.. these are interfaces that were confiugred before the new networking config was available in Foreman.

Is it because you have two eth0 interfaces?

I don't have two.

where are the mac addresses coming from?

00:90:fa:46:de:b0 is bond0

not eth0

but is it being pulled from the host, or is this virtual host and you are setting it up?

this is a physical host that was already being managed before the new networking stuff.

I'm not sure how Foreman models this stuff.. facts?

actually, I'm not sure how the kernel should assign virtual MACs.

than there is an issue in the installer

as the log was root:root

or it wasn't able to do so as it saw foreman-proxy from sssd

and fixed :)
