anyone here use the azurerm_* provisioners?

I'm trying to import an azurerm_virtual_network - and it imports correctly, however I can't seem to create a config file to match it so it doesn't delete and recreate it

using Terraform 0.6.16 and it appears to randomly throw out error in variables that are valid and not sure what is going on

Blocking our upgrade bas 0.7.5 but seems like a pretty supercritical bug. However as the error message explicitly states "do not support" I'm concerned this might be intentional acitivity

Doesn't *seem* on first glance that multiple map variables in tfvars should be undesirable

do a puppet agent -t run

I guess you mean EC2 instances

so your ec2 instances can have a cloud-init as a template

well, in that cloud init you can run the command :)

yes, sure.. but my question was about best practices .. :) how do you handle the certification signing .. and so on

i can also use remote-exec from within the resource .. that is not a problem

zmo_: The 'nice' solution is to make an AMI that just runs puppet when machines come up. Then use an autosign.rb script to validate the box in the AWS API before signing a cert
