If you have two or more Terraform configurations, and one needs to reference values in the .tfstate of another, what's the best way to handle this?

So, I am following https://www.hashicorp.com/blog/terraform-custom... - and, when I come to the point where I have to `go build -o terraform-provider-dummy`, go complains about cannot use "github.com/hashicorp/terraform/plugin".Handshake .. in assignment

I bet this is due go fetching the wrong version of a dependency

but is there a simple way to fix this?

(simpler than taking each revision from the terraform repo and test with it)

I'm getting an error suddenly when using the remote state GCS plugin

looks like the token isn't being refreshed or something. I read about issues with NTP but my clock is synced. worked fine last night :)

OK, i'm using terraform inside docker, which seems to be the source of clock drift

restarting the docker daemon on my mac fixed it
