quick question

say I have this in remote-exec "sudo apt-get install ansible x2go -y",

yes otto looks interesting

and then say I want add nmap

so I decide to update my file with "sudo apt-get install ansible x2go nmap-y",

How do i update ?

without destroying please ?

you mean running an update on an existing machine

so we first run , "sudo apt-get install ansible x2go -y",

and then add another package

"sudo apt-get install ansible x2go nmap -y",

I'm honestly not sure how you would go about doing with Terraform I imagine there is a simple way to do so

but i would use something like Puppet to manager changes

What does this mean?

Ah "cycle" refers to some cyclical issue

So the issue is create_before_destroy

I need to set up an internal domain in my VPC.

My VPC is connected back to my DC via a DirectConnect.

I think what I want to do is have the foo.io domain in VPC point at foo.locall DNS servers in my DC. And then have my foo.local domain contain NS records for foo.io.

That way, everything in the VPC can resolve everything in the DC, and vice versa.

Does that make sense >
