re: the customer.source.updated webhook, I understand that if it is an automatic update, it will not have a request attribute. what are the possible values of previous_attributes in that case?

Only the last4/exp_month/exp_year? Does the address ever get changed by the auto-updater?

if anyone is about, can you confirm that setting a rule in Radar of::: Block if:ip_address: = '<ipaddress>' would block said IP address from placing an order? I'm trying to block a repeat credit card fraudster. I know their email and the IP address from which they place the orders.

i got it working with a post request without the library

so I'm running into one last problem

when I am creating the customer, I am using the results of the checkout post

and tying them to a subscription plan, which is easy with the parameters

however

the data-quantity on the form has no bearing on the quantity of plans they bought, it is reporting to me that they only purchased one plan

to give more details I am posting to https://api.stripe.com/v1/customers

giving the email, source, and plan

I suppose I just have to feed it the quantity in the params when I create the customer via the api

rather than depend on the source for the information

You don't add a plan to a customer

well the thing is you can kind of do it in one fell swoop by just creating a customer and giving them a plan parameter

the plan then says hey i'm subscribed

at least it seems to be working

I don't know why they suggest token -> customer -> subscription, thing is I'm using the checkout button

Checkout button generates a Token only

which your front end sends to the backend, to then create a customer with that token

and on customer creation right there you can subscribe them to a plan

just by feeding a plan parameter

and apparently if you feed it a quantity parameter it knows how many subscriptions to make

fajar: The ways in which a customer gets a balance is usually due to prorating, or refunds. I can't think of a scenario outside of that, that would cause a customer to carry a balance.

Hi my iOS app is suddenly failing to load the payment context with the error: JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set.

Has anyone encountered that recently? We haven't changed anything.
