Hi koopajah, a different mac client allows me to speak to public now :)

The stripe API will complain an invalid bank routing number when I try to add it, but it won’t complain about a wrong bank account number until I try to initiate a transfer. How can I validate the bank account number is correct/functional when I add it?

ehongyu: I'm not sure that's possible here. I think we have a list of valid routing numbers which would be like knowing which prefix for phone numbers are valid

ehongyu: but there's no way to ensure the account number is valid until you create a transfer and the bank says "no that's not valid"

it’s for client to transfer the money out of stripe to his/her own bank account

ehongyu: when you ask for their bank account details you can use https://stripe.com/docs/api#create_bank_account... to create a token first

I will try that. Originally, I thought I had to use recipient API to receive money when I read the API document

having the strangest error with the python interface. It works fine via the repl, but in my app, it's raising an error stating that my requests lib might be out of date (it's not). The underlying error was: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'server_hostname'

SirScott: never seen that before. Check that you have the latest bindings and are on a recent enought API verson in the dashboard?
