Is this correct ?

Stripe Connect means you accept payments on the user behalf

aka, there is no sending money to other people

the money goes to them in the first place

but here, its explained that we can transfer money to third party user accounts

my requirement is, from my appplication, user can put items for sale and others can buy it.. The application will ask the buyer to login to stripe and I will get access token and I need to transfer that money to recipient. Recipient may not be having stripe account. At the time of registration the application is storing his bank details.. So, how can I transfer the amount to recipient ?

hope this type of transfer is possible with stripe.. please help me.. I got stuck with this for last 1 week and I didn't get any reply from stackoverflow or support@stripe.com

so they will reply somewhere today

probably in a few hours when it's monday morning/noon

your user needs to sign up through stripe connet

and then you have to use their token on the creditcard payment

so the money goes to their account and not yours

ok.. but no where I have seen transfering money to a stripe account..

as mentioned a few times now

you don't transfer money to their stripe account

you process payments on their behalf

the money goes straight to their account - it never gets to your account, you don't have to transfer anything.

that I am clear.. my doubt is should the recipient also have a stripe account ?

but no where I have seen transferring money from a stripe account to another stripe account..

Hi, I got a question about stripe subscription, if there are multiple subscriptions for one customer, only default card can be used to charge for those subscription? could it be possible that one card for one subscription? coz, user may want to use different credit card for different subscriptions. Thanks

i've literally told you about 5 times now, you cannot and do not send money from a stripe account to another

kai_: yes, you can add new cards to the customer and then specify that specific card when creating a subscription

Stripe submits transfers every day, but most banks will only process the transfer on business days. This means that if Stripe sent you money on a holiday or a weekend, you will probably see the money in your bank the next day your bank is open. For transfers sent on business days, you should see the money for it by the next day.

thier statement where it says "transfers sent on business days, you should see the money for it by the next day."

is contradicting with, 7 days, this is a total of 8 days

payments made on Monday get transferred to you the next Monday

It does, they should transfer on day 6, for bank deposit day 7

the 7 day period is there for chargebacks

monday payment transfered to u will be recieved next monday

if your bank processes payments the same day then that would be the case

if your bank takes 1 business day then that won't be the case

not really up to Stripe how long your bank takes

they should say transfer will be initiated following monday
