how do I start a new line in rst?

introom: a blank line creates a new paragraph, that should be sufficent generally

introom: generally you do not want to introduce explicit line breaks

but not having a blank line above.

introom: this is probably not a blank line, I assume this is from generated HTML and the rendered puts space between paragraphs

introom: this is not something you can influence with rst

introom: you might be able to do something about that with css
