How do I create the db required by solum?

I am trying to get a working sqlite db

i tried to run db_manage upgrade. But that fails with some syntax errors... But I do not want to upgrade anyway, right? I only want a fresh new db i guess

But I cannot find a script for creating that

solum-db-manage --config-file $SOLUM_CONF_DIR/$SOLUM_CONF_FILE upgrade head where $SOLUM_CONF_DIR/$SOLUM_CONF_FILE will be location of solum.conf file (/etc/solum/solum.conf)

basically solum-db-manage will start from the first revision and apply all the revisions up until the head

devkulkarni: one cannot drop columns in sqlite. So that is the issue I guess

though i do not understand why it needs to drop a colum for creating a new db?

does it start with the oldest version and slowly upgrades it?

I guess I need to use mysql then?

yes, alembic migrations work that way. it starts with the very first revision and applies all the revisions up until head
