oh i wrote https://github.com/ed-/create-arbor-app yesterday, ignore that "arbor" is in the name

it crushes "solum app create" and "solum assembly create" into one command that just takes an app name and a git url

i don't know if it should get cooked into the CLI properly or not so i just put it there for now

I thought it was curious that, in Solum, creating an app required 2 steps

the feedback we got on the first review of CAMP was that this wasn't a good idea

CAMP now supports creating an app with a single POST to its "assemblies" collection

Hey guys , I've been experimenting with Solum and I've installed solum on openstack with the solum-dashboard, when I try to launch applications , I don't see the Canvas that you presented in the demo , Im happy to share the credentials of my openstack system

the stuff that I saw in Demo was very promising , I was wondering how Solum is going to differ from Solum

yogi_: I believe Murano is a cataog of applications

how solum could differ from murano , Solum can provide CI/CD capabilities , I was also trying to differentiate the notion of catalog from these services

whereas solum builds its own applications as defined by the user

That makes sense , do I forsee cataloging using Solum ?

Thank you Paul ! since both these services generate HOT templates, is there a common path where I could build applications and catalog these applications to be consumed by multiple tenants

and then it’d be a coin toss as to who would then call to heat
