Why is it attempting a bi-dialect session?

because the w3c new session specification is different than the existing one in the selenium project

Hey all, is there a way for me to get netowrk timing information from a browser on page load? I've got tests running really slowly, and I'd like to get some metrics to figur eout what's going on.

I mean, a way for selenium to get it form the console, so I can save it with my results.

there's nothing in selenium that calculates those sort of metrics. you'd have to build it into selenium yourself

CSWookie: driver.execute_script("return performance.timing;") … but that's just the DOM body, you probably need to look at timing of the assets / scripts

(that's chrome… not sure about other browsers ;) )
