So, RTD doesn't support SSL, but this rationalization from its docs really irritates me: "if we hosted the key for you, it would no longer be secret". You already host all of my content. What more could you gain by having the SSL key for that particular hostname?

untitaker: we absolutely support ssl

just not managing ssl for your private cnames

agj: right, and if it were just stated like that in the docs it'd be ok. But at the moment there's some sort of rationale documented there too that doesn't make any sense.
