Is there any way to redirect docs that were on rtd to a new domain?

good day folks, I've got some questions about running an internal readthedocs.org stack if anyone cares to humor me

I'm somewhat new to django (I have more experience with rails) so do please pardon my ignorance

I'm following along with the documentation at https://docs.readthedocs.org/en/latest/architec... and I feel like I grok most of the important bits

my setup locally is using docker-composem but it's a fairly close representation of the architecture outlined on that page

I have a redis service, elasticsearch, and two instances of the django application, nginx serves statics and proxies requests to one of the django instances

all of this works as expected except for one thing that I can't quire wrap my tiny brain around.

watching logs, I'm seeing all builds happen in the "main" process; the one behind nginx. I'm interested in a dedicated build server as described on that page, and I can't seem to sort out that last piece of this puzzle

am I just talking to myself?
