ericholscher: does that mean readthedocs has no PIL / imaging support?

fyi im still trying to fully understand the ramifications of having to use a mock module - readthedocs is important to me, so I will change things accordingly

those were from 3 months ago when building worked

I have a question about how RTD deals with languages

anyone aroud?

to work around some ... issues with Sphinx's search I created a custom language (https://github.com/ClusterHQ/flocker/blob/maste...) but the generated docs in RTD don't seem to be utilizing that

yea, I think we're explicitly setting the language

insofar as people may have other arguably more legitimate reasons to set the language (setting it to japanese, specifically) could you maybe not set it if conf.py has a specific value?

well, we support building multiple languages, so we need to set it from that variable -- even when they have it set in their config

can I set a language in the UI? it wasn't quite clear if one can

a bigger picture suggestion is offering a good search solution inside RTD, since Sphinx's isn't great and you have the benefit of running servers

yea, we have 2 search solutions, both of which are bad, but I'm working on making one better today :)
