I need to buy receiver crystals to my 35mhz receiver

I rather not buy branded crystals but some generic ones from mouser when I have my electronics order in place

I just wonder what makes receiver crystal or transmitter crystal

is it actual type or just parameters defined by radio vendor

like, the size and how it fits into the socket

you have the frequency range

and then the exact channel it's on

how much is a branded crystal?
