-
others are much more liberal … but i’ve just had it with half-dead lipos, i don’t want to kill them on the bench anymore

-
Johnsen

-

-
but still 6 hours to go
-
eddiex

-
eddiex
Purpose of the PCBs?
-
Johnsen

-
maybe some other things too
-
i wanna make some sensitive microphone that hears nature/environment sounds pretty well :p
-
eddiex
Years since I did some PCBs now... I need to find the time again.

i need to order 18650's for someone
-
trustfire
-
what model can i order? trustfire has a lot of them
-
Johnsen
trustfire woop
-
you can trust they'll catch fire
-
Nebukadneza
ultrafire :D:D
-
teus_
err
-
ultrafire sorry
-
Johnsen
same crap
-
teus_
i dont care
-
Johnsen
if you don't want your house to burn down you should consider panasonics or a real brand :p
-
teus_
right
-
i see ultrafire 4200mah's
-
Johnsen
thats chinese capacity
-
thats about 1200 european mAh
-
teus_
thats fine
-
its some replacement thing
-
they lost my batteries, i cant order another brand or something expensive
-
Nebukadneza
i have had both
-
both kinda worked, for a while
-
teus_
okay
-
so what batteries have a real rating then
-
and how much do they cost
-
guys?
-
ok im charging a trustfire now, ill see what discharge capacity it has
-
DarthShader joined the channel
-
whats a good way to test this?
-
AFAIK my imax charger indicates the capacity
-
im discharging at 0.1A, 1cell
-
Johnsen
it tells the charge it put in
-
but it adds to the charge it already had anyway
-
a better way to find out capacity is probably the discharge function
-
Nebukadneza
0.1a is very little
-
wheels_up joined the channel
-
teus_
oh
-
of course i was talking about discharge
-
Johnsen
chisdarge
-
grab yourself a banana
-
teus_
yeah
-
1000mah real rating makes for a 10hour discharge at 0.1a
-
ill set it higher
-
since all my uses are for quick discharges anyway
-
hmm
-
-
wot
lygte-info.dk : Test of UltraFire BRC18650 4000 mAh (Brown-Gold)
-
teus_
1869mAh to 2087mAh depending on current
-
Johnsen
capacity lowers on higher discharge too
-
if you do 10 hours at 100mA it wont be 1 hour at 1 A, but less
-
teus_
i know
-
because of internal resistance
-
Johnsen: what batteries do you recommend then
-
Johnsen
a bicycle dynamo
-
teus_ blinks
-
teus_
yes
-
ill take a cycle on the plane or bus
-
to charge my devices
-
-.O
-
emm
-
so, microphones again
-
whats the difference between unidirectional electrets, and omnidirectional electrets
-
i need a 5A supply for my imax charger. 12-18V
-
i can use a laptop 19-20V adapter and put a linear regulator on it
-
but eh, theres no 5A or more linear regs
-
can i use multiple 2A linear 15V regulators?
-
-
wot
-
teus_
thats very simple
-
add diodes on the output so they dont charge each other
-
and then a diode to ground to boost the output voltage
-
Johnsen
bah why the hell would you go linear on a battery charger
-
anyway bye
