How long can I keep lipos fully charged

i usually want to discharge them after half a week or week or so

others are much more liberal … but i’ve just had it with half-dead lipos, i don’t want to kill them on the bench anymore

ok im charging a trustfire now, ill see what discharge capacity it has

whats a good way to test this?

AFAIK my imax charger indicates the capacity

im discharging at 0.1A, 1cell

it tells the charge it put in

but it adds to the charge it already had anyway

a better way to find out capacity is probably the discharge function

0.1a is very little

1000mah real rating makes for a 10hour discharge at 0.1a

ill set it higher

since all my uses are for quick discharges anyway

i can use a laptop 19-20V adapter and put a linear regulator on it

but eh, theres no 5A or more linear regs

can i use multiple 2A linear 15V regulators?

add diodes on the output so they dont charge each other

and then a diode to ground to boost the output voltage
