look at it like this-- maybe $40 more on speed controllers now means you crash less often due to being able to recover and manuever better-- that'll save you way more in props and bent/burned motors in the long run

and arduino nano is cheaper than a CC3D, why don't you buy one of those and flash it with flight control software?

your time and effort would be better spent increasing your income to the point where you don't have to distinguish between these things.

I know it's a dick thing to say, but most of the people you see doing interesting things with these quads have a level of disposable income that makes even the most expensive components a rounding error~
