But anyway, Im just looking for a basic resource for RC construction methods, such as wing designs and fuse designs

I can handle the aerodynamic design

but some info on that is not bad either

there's whole websites full of free plans for planes, airfoils, and with a few youtubes you'll find out how to actually work with balsa

mine is more of a space issue, if I had a better/bigger shop abd bench I'd do more building

but... Maybe I'd just come up with another excuse if I did have a bigger better shop/bench

instant gratification is instantly gratifying after all

but, I do enjoy the build side of multirotors, they fit on my bench pretty easy

they're pretty easy on the "design" side

couple sticks and enough power and it'll fly

from there it's tweaking power plant to optimize

not specialist ones

most beginners here don't fly foam, they fly traditional trainers

clubs with old and experienced ones are mostly composite and wood

been out to johnstone county aeromodelers, and I follow RDRC and another I can't think of on the bookface

would be kind of cool to hook up some logic to the compression adjuster screw on a diesel

although typically you just use it like a choke, once it's warmed up it doesn't need adjusting

you should in theory be able to supercharge one and control throttle with fuel

like in a full size diesel four stroke engine

same as a glow fuel engine

just electric for me thus far...

electric is better in ages where everyone is intolerant

and ppl dont want other ppl to have fun anymore
