it seems that there is som crash with Chameleon compile + waitress

mage_: does it still crash if you use another wsgi server? (wsgiref if nothing else)

that is.. is the problem related to waitress, or is it something else

Elmer: it doesn't crash with gunicorn

(I haven't tested yet with another one)

could it be that this is specific to running with the --reload option?

or are you running gunicorn with autoreload as well?

I just launched gunicorn with --reload to check

(but I'm relatively confident that the issue is on the Waitress side..)

mage_: it would probably help a lot if you could add or link to a minimal test case that whoever's picking this up could try.. otherwise it's a bit of a challenge I imagine

Hi, I have a small question. config.include() there is a optional paramter folr the prefix. Is there a way to use a prefix when including a package via .ini file pyramid.includes

Did the CookieCutter step and then the Hello World example (only had 1.5 hours). Everybody was able to get things up and running! :-D

The "virtualenv1" followed by "virtualenv2" situation is unavoidably confusing. It's "oh my god it's full of virtualenvs". Be great if we can come up with something better. Perhaps basically focus on getting CookieCutter into the relevant system Pythons? Or Dockerisring all the things.

I hope to be able to provide additional instructions for Conda users who have slightly different but equivalent configs.

And I think that we can now probably assume that users have Python 3 installed.

And we also possibly hit an inconsistency between docs and examples re. security that needs checking.
