I tried failing email while in a transaction, there's no 2 phase commit on the DB side

it should involve something like https://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/sql-...

is there a support for that at all in the transaction or zope.sqlalchemy package ?

all I see is normal BEGIN implicit and COMMIT

and then A storage error occurred during the second phase of the two-phase commit. Resources may be in an inconsistent state.

I have to use Session = sessionmaker(twophase=True)

now there's PREPARE TRANSACTION in the log

but after mail send exception, no ROLLBACK

is it a problem ? like, unfinished transaction still using resources in the db ?

oh its not a mail exception, its an sqlalchemy exception

need to set also "max_prepared_transactions"

ok, its working now, nice
