How do I return an empty response body? request.response.body = b"" still seems to return something.

Content-Length: 4

return Response(status=201) seems to do it, but it also feels a little clumsy considering there is a response object already available for the request

and I can't set request.response.body=None

return HTTPNoContent()

that's the official way to do it

_savage: not sure if it helps, but in WebSauna (which is based on Pyramid), i use like request.response.status = 201

Maybe on vanila Pyramid is the same

wiggy: which makes sense, considering it generates errors too so now success responses follow that same scheme

example, I want to provide 2 drop down fields, with the option to add another drop down field to the form
