the timing on pycon this year is just silly... sprints on the weekend.. talks on a holiday... whyyy

perhaps it's some sort of self deprecating humor?

ie, 'you have nothing else better to do than code on the weekend, so sprint'

raydeo: I think the idea is maybe more of the people that usually go home after the conference will stay for the sprints if they are on a weekend
