dstufft: well the original error was that it did not work in py3? ... I am guessing there is a test missing for both py2 and py3 to test the case it was broken too

goodwill: right, and the patch I wrote to the stdlib has a test for that edge case. I'm just not sure what the benefit of copy/pasting the tests from the stdlib are in this case, ideally this code can just be deleted once whatever version that contains the fix in py3 is released and a minimum version

oh, and the stale* tests, I can add those too, I just didn't cuz I wasn't sure exactly how to test that. I can set the headers and see if it worked. there just wern't really any other tests I saw that did that so I assumed that webob didn't bother to test that

OT: wife wants to buy a new desktop. likes what I've shown her of ubuntu. wants to know what to buy. i don't know shit about low end desktop pcs. what do i need to know?
