My pyramid application does not take care of X-Forwarded-For header and give me my LB ip on request.remote_addr is there smth to configure?

that should be configured at web-server level I believe

if you're using some python server, then you'll have to use middleware

headers are well define in request but i thought that pyramid handeled it :/

apache 2.4 got mod_remoteip, you should look at 3rd party modules like mod_rpaf or similar

pyramid doesnt, there was a ticket to implement that, it was rejected

because you really want this at server level. that way you will get real client ip in access.log too

including requests to static assets, which aren't passed to pyramid
