you have to pretty deeply hack it if you want something too different - it's server-side plugin architecture isn't there yet, but it's easy enough to do

client side seemed good

started this b/c we've got PyTexas con here in TX this weekend, and as of this year we've got PyLadies in 4 TX cities represented - wanted to see where else everyone was

Ah cool. If you were farther north I was going to ask if you'd be willing to give a talk at our Python Users' Group

We have some GIS people I've been trying to show Python to and I figured your talk would lure them in =P

I'm naturally trying to convince them to learn Python =P

ESRI in SoCal is using python. lots of talks at SciPy on GIS. Perhaps that might sway them ;)

My favorite was the lightning talk about mapping out an optimal halloween trick or treat route in a community :)

skay would be a good resource too since she is closer to your part of the country :)
