sortie: ah, only just checked irc. things are working, slowly. reworked some of the buildbot over the weekend, hence the commit noise here

I'm improving the performance of my make. Took a bit over a second to make all in libc when nothing had to be done, so there was some N² performance to squash. Added a stat(2) cache and binary search trees for rules & such.
