<finist> Hi, some clarification about stable-4.14 branch: yes, it contains some preliminary work for OpenVZ8 which as usual will be based on RHEL8 when it appears. We don't have a RHEL8 beta - if you have, please share. :)) - so cannot use it as a base. But we want to minimize the time between RHEL8 release and OpenVZ8 release, thus we do some work in advance. 4.14 mainstream kernel is going to be a new long term kernel:
      • https://www.kernel.org/category/releases.html, there is a RHEL8-alfa branch of anaconda https://github.com/rhinstaller/anaconda/tree/rh... which seems to based on Fedora 27, Fedora 27 has also 4.14-x kernel, taking all these facts into account we've also taken 4.14 stable mainstream branch as a base for some in advance preparations. We do port VZ-specific functionality, drop something, rewrite something - as usual. At the mome
      • and partially works if installed on a vz7 node - Contianers start and stop. Most noticable missing feature - ploop, Containers can be built on simfs only now. Most inconvenient missing feature - kdump does not work, it will be fixed automatically once we have fresh userspace base like Fedora 27/RHEL8. Something like that.
