Hello, Had anyone been successfully deploy Midonet via Kilo devstack ?

Perhaps, a better question is - Does Midonet support devstack ? This github repository appears to suggest that devstack is supported https://github.com/midonet/midostack

midostack project is largely deprecated. look at this documentation: https://github.com/midonet/midonet/wiki/Devstack

i haven't run it in about 3 months, but there is people on the company who's running every day

piyanai: Yes. Midostack was our previous project to leverage devstack but using midonet in behind the scenes

but since Kilo, they have added support to run arbitrary third party code

so, for Kilo use devstack and configure it the way it is documented in the link I gave you

the `enable_plugin` statement will clone and build midonet and configure neutron accordingly

devvesa: well, we tried that and it does not seem to work as before - about a month ago. Back then the devstack way worked fine. But now, after installation, Neutron/Horizon do not seem to work.

devvesa: we have not checked in to the "why" and "where"

just want to check in before start to spend any more time on it.

devstack has been the way the build it for the last 4 months at least

So curious as how often you folks internally do sanity testing check to make sure devstack works ?

From our experience, devstack and all the OpenStack services are moving target…

devstack works in our daily tests on stackforge gates for the neutron plugin
