I've been thinking that maybe we should remove the backreferences from chains to ports, routers, bridges, and IP address groups.

They're causing some problems with translation, and it's not clear to me that they're actually necessary.

Now that Neutron keeps track of that stuff for us.

I'm just wondering if Agent needs it for some reason. I wouldn't think so, since they transform the objects into their own format.

which i think you can: we reference most devices by id, so if a chain is updated we'll get that update, regardless of what device references it

we don't care so much about deletes
