Am I understanding the docs correctly in that when I would issue an mcollective “command” or action, it doesnt try to connect to each host? It would just be polling a message bus or something like that?

So as long as the machines can reach wherever that is, we’re good?

_jlove: correct; typical mco commands are dispatched from a client onto an MQ, and servers watch that MQ for messages matching their metadata
