Hello, so what's the deal with activemq 5.9 from the puppetlabs yum repo ? It breaks my mcollective, and looking at the mailing list I'm not alone

java.io.IOException: Failed to create directory 'activemq-data/localhost/KahaDB'

ln -s /var/log/activemq/activemq-data /usr/share/activemq/activemq-data fix it, like indicated in the mailing list

lofic: are you also using the puppetlabs-activemq module? that has a habit of trashing the init script

you should also be able to fix it by specifying it in the activemq.xml

hey guys

im looking to roll out something like mcollective to help out orchestrace my rollouts (currently am using scheduled puppets)

is there a some neat newbie friendly explanations?

the getting started page is quite overwhelming
